As a higher education institution, Near East University recognizes its role in addressing the climate crisis. We are committed to:
- Reducing our environmental impact through feasible and measurable actions.
- Promoting sustainable lifestyles within our university community.
- Supporting the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 13: Climate Action.
- Achieving net-zero carbon emissions by 2050 as part of our institutional sustainability strategy.

Waste and Energy
- Encourage waste reduction and recycling practices across all campuses.
- Promote energy-saving behaviors and long-term infrastructure improvements.
Sustainable Transportation
